Old Costumes

Here's a view of most of my older costumes. Most were for school.

Egyptian-style dress and jeweled collar. I still own the dress, but I had to discard the collar after it was ruined by a sticky nametag (bad idea!).

Middle eastern dress. Notice the same base dress as the Egyptian, but different details. Cloth sash with fancy pin that is hard to see.

Different versions of my clown costume, May and July 2005 respectively. Shirt was made my grandmother, I made the bag myself, and the hair out of yarn (taped/sewed it to the inside of the hat).
The skirts, makeup, and bandannas are the biggest differences. It's not a historical costume, I know, but I put a lot of thought and work into it.

Yet another version, November of 2005. Notice the pants - I made those with my grandmother.

Medieval costume in it's first version. Underdress, sideless surcoat, and headpiece were all made by myself, my mother, and my grandmother. The surcoat goes to the floor in a slight train, and was an absolute pain in the neck to make work, along with the gusset in the underdress.
